POLYCHRONIC AND MONOCHRONIC

After reflection ,I consider myself both monochronic and polychronic .I was born in Poland and I grew up in Polish culture .I had expirence in my life to be always on time.Schedules were very important , so always planned time for my meetings ,work and vacations .I always used a calendar and a clock .Schedule was very important with my relationship.I worked my schedule but sometime I expirenced stress in my culture in Poland.
When I left my native country and I traveled to Siberia (Russia), I met many different cultures.I usually didn't need to be on time.In the beginning I didn't understand tolerance for lateness but after a few weeks, I realized this not very bad , because Im not pressed for time.I accepted people, who visit me without calling first .My schedule was more flexible and I was more available for many people .I controlled my time ; time didn't control me.
Im aware my monochronic tendencies but after many years I still can't cut the ties with my monochronic roots.
